Adventure motorcycling...
...is the guided motorcycle experience of a lifetime. We love the hidden country of New Zealand and want to share it with you. To show you the places of adventure where there are no sealed roads and very few if any people. We take you to campsites and back country places to stop and breathe, to swim in the streams, to jump into hot pools, all in the wilderness. We will take you to places most visitors to NZ will never see or believe to exist, alpine vistas and valleys where you will not see anyone else.
Yes we will take you to the places people rave about – on the seal - but that is only the beginning. We take you off seal on multiday adventures. We want to share our secret places and to give you the experience of a lifetime.
These adventures will challenge you both physically and mentally. They will recharge your soul and give you an experience you will treasure forever.
Yes, you may fall off your motorbike (at a slow speed), yes we will count how many times this happens, and yes you will be challenged. However, at the end of each day you can recharge your batteries with great New Zealand food and wine in the glorious outdoors of New Zealand.
Because these places are special to us we have a maximum ratio of one guide to per four clients. Whilst you have a guide on tour, we believe this kind of travel is enhanced by working as a team who helps each other. You will be part of the team setting up camp, assisting with the cooking and checking the bikes each day for safety and reliability.
The great thing about NZ is that civilization is never far away. This means we can stock up regularly on great seasonal produce and visit some of those towns you heard about. Friends will ask if you have been to Arrowtown and you can say: “yes, but have you been to Macetown? It is out the back of Arrowtown two hours up the river, gloriously uncrowded and peaceful. We camped up there and sat under the clear sky watching satellites go by, drinking an excellent Central Otago Pinot and listening to the moreporks (our native owl).” Or you can ask them in turn: "did you have a Merino lamb pie or catch a trout or salmon or see the real Fiordland with no helicopters and buses?"
